The tasks of the KIA are diverse: one of the main tasks is to establish and maintain contacts with religious and cultural institutions through regular visits to the institutions or participation in events. Another area of responsibility is maintaining contact with consular representations, municipal officials, authorities and other institutions.
The close contact with associations and religious communities should lead to a relationship of trust between both parties and create a basis for an exchange of information on an equal footing. Another important task of the KIA is to present the work of the police in a transparent and comprehensible manner.
