Driving too fast is the main cause of road accidents with serious and very serious consequences. With the "Respect for life - I'm in!" campaign, we want to protect people from the often serious consequences of accidents caused by excessive speed.
Every accident victim means great suffering for their family, friends and work colleagues. This is why the police in the Rhine-Erft district not only flexibly and regularly monitor speed at accident hotspots, but also wherever speeding occurs.
The following applies: fewer victims, that's the success! - Not more speeding tickets!
The "Respect for life - I'm in!" campaign is a nationwide appeal to all road users to consistently adhere to the traffic rules and thus protect themselves and others!
